She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lisle Rives and Bessie Roberson Rives; her former husband Clinton Boyd Rowlette, Jr.; her spouse Haywood Dail Laughinghouse, Jr.; her brother Herbert Lisle Rives, Jr.; her stepson Bill Laughinghouse; her stepgrandchildren, Alex, Jackson Laughinghouse and Lacy Laughinghouse; and her stepdaughter-in-law Jennifer Laughinghouse.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances Rowlette Young (Robert); her grandsons, Rob Young of Charleston, SC and Cameron Young (Kelly) of Raleigh; her nieces, Abbie R. Millard, Julia R. Rabhan (Jay) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Lisa R. Mauracher (Rob) of Saanichton and British Columbia; her stepchildren, Margaret Laughinghouse, Helen Scovill (Jay), Susan Laughinghouse and Dail Laughinghouse, III; her stepgrandchildren, Will Evans (Jennifer), Meg Evans, Rachel Evans, Jennifer Mullis (Dan), Dail Laughinghouse IV, Joseph Laughinghouse, Melissa Wolgemuth (Dane) and Ellie Crout (Chris); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Liam, Addie Evans, Landon Congleton, Khloe Bunn, Skylar Evans, Brynn, Julian Mullis, Vivienne Wolgemuth and Clemmie Crout; and her siblings-in-law, Charles and Sheri Laughinghouse. She is also survived by her daughter lived with her parents, who helped raise her daughter.
