She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Donald McKenzie Nicholls and Robert Lewis Huffman; and her daughters, Martha Nicholls Smith and Donna Nicholls McLawhorn. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Nicholls Crandall (Alton); and her siblings, Margaret Thorpe of Kinston, Juanita Harris of Bell Arthur, Victoria Collins, Thomas Maroules of Kinston and Billy Maroules of Kinston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arthur Christian Church.
