He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Cutrell, Sr. and Lovie Lucile Wilkins Cutrell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fox Cutrell; his stepsons, Pete Miller, Jr. of Morehead City and Matthew Miller of Beaufort; his siblings, Johnny Cutrell (Jill) of Beaufort and Christy Cutrell Ferguson (Troy) of Matthews; his nephews, Robert Cutrell, Andrew Cutrell, John Troy Ferguson, David Ferguson (Lindsay) and Mark Baker; and his niece Jennifer Baker-Pitts (Ben Daniels).
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belhaven Community Cemetery (1009 W Main St, Belhaven, NC 27810).
