She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thomas and Carolyn Thomas; and her brother Robert Warren Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Avery; her son Hunter Avery (Kristin) of Palm City, FL; her grandchildren, Banks and Palmer Avery of Palm City, FL; and her sister Carol Thomas Powers (David) of Salter Path, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
