With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Hoover Voland (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Max Hoover and Luella Schaumburg Hoover; her children, Elena, Igor, Ella, Martie Voland (Edie Woodward) of Portland, ME, Randy Voland of Hampton, VA and Andy Voland (Valerie Smith); her granddaughter Lily Nicole of Scottsdale; her sister Edna Hoover of Fayetteville, PA.; her husband Maurie Voland; and her brother Max M. Hoover, Jr.. She was also cherished by her children, and grand/great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Cypress Glen, 100 Hickory Street, Greenville, NC 27858 or to a charity of one's choice.
