She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Byrum and Ruebell Lilly Dunn Byrum; her husband Thomas Powell; her brother Elton "Charlie" H. Byrum, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Overton Byrum Ivey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Elizabeth Powell Parker (Roy) and Julie Ann Powell Parker; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jonathan), Ashley, Roy Lenn, Ryan, Aubrey, Lindsey, Melissa (Cole), Bailey and Jacob; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Byrum, Kim Byrum Michael, Gary Byrum and Richard Ivey. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
