She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Ward; and her sister Polly Ann Everette. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Ward (Sylvia) and Gary Ward; her grandchildren, Lacy Rae Ward and Kelly Mellisa Ward; and her nephews, Curt, Tony and Ernie Everette.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Home (209 W Peyton Ave, Kinston, NC 28501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
