In the vast expanse of eternity, Eleanor Rogers shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eleanor Rogers farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Edwards, Sr. and Eula Mae Rogers Edwards; and her siblings, Danny, Cecil, Peggy, Hermon, Sr. and Douglas Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughter Zina Duell Tillery; and her grandchildren, Tion Tillery (Shanquia), Linzella Tillery, Jessica Winns (Eddie) and Darlin Tillery. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
