Edwin Lovell Yancey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Lovell Yancey (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James David Yancey and Eula Huey Yancey; and his sister Joann Y. Hopkins. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Anne Williford of Lumberton, NC.; his wife Betty Yancey; his children, Betty Lael Yancey of Charlotte, Elaine Y. Massengill (William) of Benson and Edwin L. Yancey, Jr. (Jill) of Cary; his grandchildren, Will, Caroline, Hannah, Samantha, Ely, Jackson and Madeline; and his brother Winfred Yancey (Syble) of Haw River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
