Edward W. Wheatley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward W. Wheatley (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 3, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Richard (Kim Boliba) of California and Sarah Ricker (Thomas) of Florida; his grandchildren, Kristen Allen, Ethan Tyndall and Matthew Tyndall; and also Lisa Tyndall (Richard) of Greenville.

Ed was Co-Founder, President, and Board Member of the ECU's School of Music's "Friends of Jazz." His memory may be honored with a donation to the ECU School of Music's "Friends of Jazz" to aid in the establishment of an endowed scholarship.
