He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crabtree and Laura Crabtree; and his brother William Crabtree, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Fonnie Crabtree; his children, Edward E. Crabtree, Jr. (Scarlet), Nicholas P. Crabtree (Lauren), Molly Ann Crabtree and Richard Clyde; his grandchildren, Cathryn of Greenville, Caroline Crabtree of Greenville, Stone of Greenville and Sky Baldwin of Greenville; and his sister Cecilia Crabtree Godwin of Dunn. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers charitable donations be made to the ECU Foundation Inc. in support of the Crabtree Family Endowment.
