She was predeceased by: her son Allen Oakley. She is survived by: her son James Beasley Oakley, Jr.; her wife Darlene Oakley of Black Jack; her sister Janice Langley of Wilson; and also Johnny Oakley of Ayden. She is also survived by five grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
