She was predeceased by: her parents, Royce Sutton and Mattie Adams Sutton; and her stepson Bobby Joe Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Luke Nelson; her stepchildren, Bonnie Jackson (Bruce) of Newton Grove, Judy Nelson (Michael) of Conway, SC and Mark Nelson (Sherry) of Belhaven; and her stepgrandchildren, Shara Livingston, Preston Nelson, Jonathan Nelson, Jannon Van Honk and Krystle Stallings.
