He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Boyd and Cassie Carrow Boyd; and his son Douglas Wayne Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Linda May Boyd; his children, Danny Earl Boyd of Washington and Wanda Kay Hardee of Greenville; his grandchildren, Curtis Jordan Hardee, Shana Marie Hardee (Jeremy), Danielle Elizabeth Boyd (James), Billy Boyd and Amy Boyd; and his sister Lois Jane Tyson of Grimesland. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
