She is survived by: her brother Frederick T. Artis (Bettye); her nieces and nephews, Brenda Lewis, Tamara Dawkins, Alishia Morgan, Fericka Key, Nadia Artis, Donald Bynum, Edward Artis Jr. and Lorenzo Artis; and her sister-in-law Melba Artis Toshia Artis (late Willie).
