She is survived by: her sons, Ray Field Payton and Jasper Payton Walter (Yvonne); her daughters-in-law, Sarah Payton of Greenville, Shirley Payton of Greenville, Evelyn Payton of Greenville and Dixie Payton; her brother Edward Johnson LaGrange of North Carolina; and her granddaughter Juanita Payton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
