He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Pettitt; his daughters, Vicki Valerioti (Dominic), Sara Wills (Pastor Scott Wills) and Amy Pemberton; his grandchildren, Luke, David, Micah, Teagan, Josiah, Joseph and Benjamin; and his siblings, Sally Osmun (Jim) and Tim Pettitt (Laurie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church, and its Faith Promise Missions, 3551 South Charles Blvd., Greenville, NC 27858.
