We bid farewell to David Earl Boyd (Greenville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2024 at the age of 65. David Earl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parent Charlie James Boyd; his siblings, Lillian Boyd Wooten and Edward Boyd; and his grandparents, Daisy, McKinley Taft, Vilena and Lee Boyd.

He is survived by : his mother Lula Mae Boyd; his siblings, Edith Mae Boyd of Greenville, NC, Helen Jean Boyd of Maryland, Charlie Ray Boyd (D'Ann) of Bell Arthur, NC, Willie James Boyd (Sandra) of Greenville, NC, Jimmy Lee Boyd (Marva) of Greenville, NC, Louis Boyd (Barbara) of Greenville, NC and William Thomas Boyd (Juanita) of Greenville, NC; his uncles, McKinley Taft Jr. (Mary) of Greenville, NC and Arthur Boyd of Greenville, NC; and his friends, Jeff, Dab Laughinghouse, Deacon Gregory, Trina Watson, Frank Moore, Daryl, Sam and Ali. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church (411 Watauga Ave, Greenville, NC 27834).
