It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Grant Marshburn of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grant and Rosa Chase Grant; her husband Dr. David Theon Marshburn; and her siblings, Bliss Grant Head, Stella Grant Price, Wilton Grant, Osborne Grant and Hubert Grant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Denise Aldridge (Jim Speight) of Greenville and Mitzie Aldridge Tetterton (Kenny) of Jamesville; her stepchildren, Tricia Marshburn Morgan (Don) and David Theon Marshburn II of Chapel Hill; her siblings, Yvonne Grant Leatherwood (Bob) of Hoschton, GA and Donnie Grant (Judy) of Snow Hill; her granddaughters, Denise T. Steel (Paul) of Jamesville, Natalie T. Hamilton (Warren) of Greenville and Caroline T. Gurganus (Will) of Williamston; her stepgrandchildren, Morgan Davis and Will Davis; and her great grandchildren, Georgia Steel, Leighton Steel and Wesley Hamilton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
