We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 71, Cecil Lawrence Braddy of Greenville, North Carolina, born in Scotland Neck, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Braddy and Bill Braddy; his brothers, Alton Braddy, Jimmy Braddy and Joe Braddy; and his granddaughter Taniya McNair.
He is survived by: his sisters, Edith Evans, Glenda Norris and Carolyn Cooper; his children, Misty Whitfield (Doug), Wendy Boyette (Chad), Cecil Braddy Jr., Nikki Braddy (Jamell) and Tiffany Shields (Deshawn); his grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Eddie Bordeaux Jr., Courtney Bordeaux, Sarah Kate Boyette, Tyler Boyette, Orlando McNair Jr., Tramiyus McNair, Jayden Braddy, Nevaeh Hyman, Laila Shields, Sa'niyah Shields, Deshawn Shields Jr., Devon Braddy, Jeremiah Braddy, Nevaeh Braddy and Jordan Braddy; and his close friend Sharon Bennett. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carlisle Funeral Home (701 Hospital Dr, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
