We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2019, at the age of 95, Catherine Louise Byrd Dowd (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Orren Edwards Dowd; her sister Hilda L. Moone; and her brother-in-law Clifton Moone of Durham. She is survived by: her children, William L. Byrd, Jr. (Billy), Carolyn Crawford Byrd of Bath and Timothy L. Byrd (Tim) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Cheryl Byrd Bridgers (Scott) of Winterville and Phillip Byrd (Beth) of Greenville, NC; and her great grandchild Carter Bridgers.
