He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Sauls (Ryan) and Melinda Bateman (Gene); his brothers, William Boyd of Washington, Clarence Boyd, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Jesse Boyd of Greenville; his sister-in-law Patricia Boyd of Grimesland; his close friend Leon Raymond Hardee; and his friend Brenda Jones.
