It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertice Ray Edwards (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Rawls Edwards; his parents, Henry Edwards, Jr. and Laura Edwards; and his siblings, Janie Rawls, Arleen Forman and Norman Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Frances Sills, Loretta Gonzalez, Ann Edwards, Ray Edwards and Doug Edwards (Tania); his sisters, Fran Read of Myrtle Beach, SC, Libby Worrell of Richmond, VA and Louise Stewart of Leggett; and also Demika J. Powell of Greenville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
