She is survived by: her husband Billy Cogdell Sr.; her mother Irene Darden of Pinetops, NC; her children, Billy Cogdell Jr. (Tameka) of Winterville, NC, Steven S. Cogdell and Melody Cogdell; her stepdaughter Treon Matthews of New Jersey; her brother Randy Darden of Michigan; and also, Bettie Jo Perry of Nash County, Mary Jo Darden of Pinetops, NC, Teresa Darden of Dallas, TX and Jackie Darden of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
