It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Stokes Williams (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Stokes and Ruby Mills Stokes; her stepdaughter Heather Williams Hall; and her sister-in-law Joyce King. She is survived by: her husband Willie Ray Williams; her sons, Stephen Williams (Sherry) of Richardson, TX and David Williams (Susan) of Greenville; her granddaughter Destiny Williams; her stepdaughters, Kimberly Dixon (Tony) of Grimesland, Angela Manning (James) of Chocowinity and Lisa Johnson (Tom) of Greenville; her siblings, Jimmy Stokes (Ruth), Brenda Stancil of Greenville and Elaine Dixon (Mack) of Greenville; her sister-in-law Kathy Foskey; her close friends, Diane Craig and Jerry King; her pet Garfield; and also Tonia Martin. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great grandchildren.
