She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina Murphy Larkins and Eli Dorsett Larkins; her husband James Harvey Ward, Jr.; her children, Dorsett Ward and Lisa Ward; and her siblings, Elizabeth Larkins Jordan, Mary Ellen Larkins Thornton and Thomas Dorsett Larkins.
She is survived by: her son Jim Ward (Katie) of Greenville; her grandchildren, James Ward (Lorraine) of Burbank California, Bryant Ward (Anna) of Hermosa Beach, Mary Kate Harris (Brandon) of Raleigh, Michael Hilliard and Lewis Hilliard of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Jackson, Dylan Ward of Hermosa Beach, Eli, Girlie Ward of Burbank, Kate and Molly Harris of Raleigh. She is also survived by her three children, her five grandchildren.
