She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tebo McArthur, Sr. and Ruby Ezzell McArthur; her siblings, George Tebo McArthur, Jr. and Margaret McArthur Holcomb; her brother-in-law Howard Bailey "Buddy" Holcomb; her nephew Craig Holcomb; and her great grandchild Brooke Jacqueline Allie Gaddis.
She is survived by: her sons, James L. Gaddis, Jr. (Suzanne Rose Gaddis) of Greenville, NC and Robert Alan Gaddis (Bonnie Odgers Gaddis) of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Ian Carter Gaddis (Beth) of Lutz, FL, James Raleigh Gaddis (Erin) of Land, Alan McArthur Gaddis (Vicky) of Chesapeake, VA and Sarah Elizabeth Gaddis Reese (Shawn) of Wilton, NC; and her nephews, Howard Bailey Holcomb, Jr. and Scott McArthur Holcomb. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
