We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2022, at the age of 83, Ann J. VanWagenen of Greenville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter Jackson and Eva Jackson; her husband John VanWagenen; and her daughter Sharon McLawhorn. She is survived by: her son John Michael VanWagenen of Ayden; her son-in-law Ray McLawhorn of Stoneville; her grandchildren, Anthony Hopkins (Dedemay) of Ayden, Chad McLawhorn (Desiree) of Wake Forest and Layden Tripp (Bobby) of Summerfield; and her brother Doug Jackson of Sanford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 4301 Charles Blvd, Greenville, NC 27858.
