She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byrum and Ester Byrum. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Thomas Hooks (Diane) of Wilson and Dorothy Hooks Evans (Keith) of Emerald Isle; her granddaughter Cassie Evans Williamson (Jarrod) of Wilmington; her great grandchild Lawyn Ann Williamson of Wilmington; and her sister Ora Lee Byrum of Edenton.
In the interest of social distancing guidelines, the family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
