It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Marie Jones of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Preston McLamb and Ada Stewart McLamb; her husband Herbert Hoover Jones; and her siblings, John Ervin, Wallace, Herbert, Arthur McLamb, Christine Cook, Mae Jackson, Gladys Spell and Shelby Jean Barefoot.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Jones Tart and Dennis Ray Jones, Sr.; her grandchildren, Dennis Ray Jones, Jr. and Heather Jones of Raleigh, NC.; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Payton Moore, Rebecca Ann Jones and Waylon Hoover Jones; and her pets, Tinkerbell and Cockatiel.
