He is survived by : his sisters, Margaret Shelton and Carol Brewer; his siblings-in-law, Maegan and John Denney; his sisters, Courtney and Dusty Shutt; and his nephew Bill. He is also survived by his 6 great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - Guilford Chapel (5926 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410).
