With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Von Whitaker (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Best and Lillie Best; her grandparents, Andrew, Frances Barrett Bryant, Willie and Delilah Best; and her granddaughter Ava Lily Whitaker.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Roy Whitaker Jr.; her son Attorney Roy Whitaker III (Latoya Whitaker) of Pearland, TX; her grandson Roy Whitaker IV; and her cousins, Gorgonia Best, Diane Best Bailey (Pastor Larry Bailey), Alonzo A. Best, Jr., Alfreda Collins and Von Bailey (Collins). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
