He was predeceased by: his parents, David Eugene Stewart and Peggy Sue Stewart. He is survived by: his spouse Jon Roy; his siblings, David Stewart and Melinda Stewart Lechner; and his close friend Lisa Carnell.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel.
