She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lowdermilk and Edna Starr Lowdermilk; her husband Dennis Sockwell; and her sister Marie O'Ferrell. She is survived by: her children, Robin Valenzuela (Chico) and Brian Sockwell (Janet); her sister Daphne (Wayne); her grandchildren, Nikki Faucette (Tyler), Kelle Coble (Luke), Tony Valenzuela and Cassidi Sockwell; and her great grandchildren, Karrington, Harper Faucette, Maddox Valenzuela and Jackson Coble.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church (5120 Burlington Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery (5120 Burlington Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
