With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sydney Robinson Joseph (Greensboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 87. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Richard Scott Joseph (Beth), Robert David Joseph (Cathy), Amy Joseph Shelton and Elizabeth Joseph Bauer (Jason); her grandchildren, Anne McCray Joseph, Harrison Luke Joseph, Madeline Grace Joseph, Michael Stephen Shelton, II and Emma Claire Caroline Shelton; her parents, Robert Samuel and Nell Lemmond Robinson; her husband Fred; and her sister Phyllis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - North Elm Chapel (1118 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Market Street United Methodist Church (302 W Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
