It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve James (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Steve farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Steve is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert M. James and Joyce Saunders; his wife Judy of Cabarrus County; and also Lillian Hassell Benson.
