She was predeceased by: her father Bonnell Denny; her son David E. Johnson; her stepfather James Oscar Lyons; and her grandparents, Riley, Sallie Fryar Sellars, Earl and Eloise Houghton Denny.
She is survived by: her mother Barbara Sellars Lyons; and her siblings, Carol Clark Gilmore of Greensboro, NC, Marlene Hubbard of Riverview, FL, Adriane Denny of Greensboro, NC and Dwayne Denny of Springhill, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Triad Cremation and Funeral Service (2110 Servomation Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
