With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Williams Hodge of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Williams and Ollie Smith Williams; her husband James "Gil" Hodge, Jr.; and her brothers, Glenn Williams, Neal Williams and Berkeley Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hodge Turner (Greg) and Geoffrey Hodge (Nora); and her grandchildren, Garrett, Alli, Nathan, Benjamin and Victoria.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home and Chapel (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ellisboro Baptist Church (1604 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the same location.
