She was predeceased by: her father Robert Urbin Gurganus. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Bowen Gurganus; her daughter Kelly Sasser Shelton (Steve); her granddaughter Bailey Evelyn Ruth; and her sisters, Joan Gurganus Peaks (Danny) and Catherine Gurganus Rice (Garson). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
