He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Frank Garrett and Fairy Greeson; and his brother Donald F. Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Caudle; his son Larry R. Garrett; his daughter-in-law Kristie Thomas; his grandsons, Connor and Parker of Seattle, WA.; and his sister-in-law Jean Caudle of Greensboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
