As Roy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lewis and Janie Lewis; his son Abdul "Poochie" Lewis; and his former wife Hazel Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Rosalyn Oldham, Debra Benton and Vanessa White; and his grandchildren, Al Oldham, Jamal Graves, Jamila Graves and Jeron Graves. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Triad Cremation and Funeral Service (2110 Servomation Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
