We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2024, at the age of 90, Roger Francis Anthony (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Roger Francis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roger Francis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Babette Ethel Anthony and Jerome David Anthony; his brother Kenneth Francis Anthony; and his son David York Anthony. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Cook Anthony; his son Jon Eric Anthony (Christiana); his sister Joyce Eleanor Brown; his grandchildren, Austin Kendall Anthony (Meredith) and Darby Collins Anthony; and his great grandchild Shiloh Kendall Anthony.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - North Elm Chapel (1118 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research", in Roger's honor.
