He was predeceased by: his mother Addie Bell King; his wife Wilma M. Johnson; his sons, Jerry D. Reedy and Gary L. Bridges; and his brother Frank (Herbert Johnson).
He is survived by: his sister Judy Tilley (Dennis) of Ararat; his children, Joyce G. Reedy of Colfax, Connie B. Lakey (Harvey) of Julian, Robert B. Burchett (Missy) of Mouth and Barry Bridges (Reda) of Greensboro; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda J. Gibbs (David) of Randleman, Sandra Kinley of Randleman, Candace Thompson (Nick) of Walkertown, Phillip Johnson (Happy) of Denton, Daniel Johnson of Randleman, Matthew Tilley (Deanna) of Pilot Mountain and Charles O'Connor of Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lineberry Center at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel (515 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Guilford Memorial Park (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
