He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Elton Robert Dickson, Sr. and Florence Marie Stevens; his wife Johanna; his sister Joan Hester of Hawaii; and his grandson Kyle Salazar.
He is survived by: his sister Carol Robertson of Binghamton, NY; his children, Bob Dickson (Carol Kaminski), Chris (Terri Dickson), Becky (Thomas Nehiley) and Lillie (Matthew Principe); and his grandchildren, Matt, Tyler, Carley, Joey Lee, Josh, Mallory, Aimee of Little, MJ, Joe and Shari.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Barnabus Episcopal Church (1300 Jefferson Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bob can be made to the Wesley Long Hospital Cancer Center, 2400 W. Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27403 or to St. Barnabus Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 1300 Jefferson Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.
