He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sloan Chiles and Margaret Harris. He is survived by: his sons, Robert S. Chiles, Jr. and Reginald Chiles; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Reginald A. Chiles and Harper G. Chiles; his great grandchild Ryan A. Chiles; and his sister Dorothy Caldwell. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
