He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Staley and Hazel Staley; his son Allen Staley; and his cousin Ernestine Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Allena Mitchell Staley; his son Calvin Staley; and his cousin Estelene Rayle.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Friendship Umc Cemetery (5926 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - Guilford Chapel (5926 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410).
