We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Richard Sumner of Greensboro, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Alice Best Sumner; and his siblings, Margaret Dinkins, Kenneth Sumner and Wayne Sumner. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sumner; his daughter Cathy Thomas (Jeff) of Greensboro; his grandson Philip Thomas of Raleigh; his sister Carolyn Lingo (Dennis) of Greensboro; and his stepsons, Eric Wilson of Greensboro and Joey Wilson (Kylie) of Greensboro. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family has requested those in attendance to please wear a face covering and practice social distancing at the service and visitation.
