She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Lynn Ward, Jr.; her parents, Henry Edmond Jones, Sr. and Betty Bailey Jones; and her brother Henry Edmond "Eddie" Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her son David Ward (Lynn) of Okatie, SC; her grandsons, David Ward, Jr. (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Ward (Natalie) of Collierville, TN; and her great grandchildren, David, III, Lilah and Graham.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mark's Church Cemetery (225 Gillespie St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
