It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Eugene Norwalt of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fredrick and Mabel "Jewell" Dickey Norwalt; and his brother Errol Norwalt. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Barsoda Norwalt; his children, Theodore Norwalt, Robin Smith, Randy Norwalt, Valerie Sullivan and Eric Norwalt; his siblings, Janet Grider and Mark Norwalt; and his friend Paul. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Monnett Road Baptist Church (6033 Monnett Rd, Julian, NC 27283). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at the Gilmore Memorial Park (6500 Liberty Rd, Julian, NC 27283).
