It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Morphis Stas (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Morphis and Edna Morphis. She is survived by: her husband Emil "Mike" Stas; her children, Sandra Shumaker (Don) and Steve Stas (Jennifer); and her granddaughter Nicole Thompson (Byron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
